About the Programme
The course focuses on all key areas of multimedia, animation & design, leading to an in depth understanding of 3D Animation & Visual Effects. You can’t design or animate what you don’t understand. Learn to understand the anatomical structure of the human body and how these anatomical elements function to create movement, attitudes and poses from head to toe. Learn how to understand, illustrate and caricature the human body based on realistic and designed anatomy.A representation of the three-dimensional world on a two-dimensional surface requires a thorough foundation in the principles of perspective. This course provides students with a solid foundation on how to approach a variety of subject matter, including architecture, the human figure, products or vehicles. The rules of one, two and three point perspective are demonstrated, while also helping students develop their ability to use perspective principles while sketching from imagination.Studios and game developers are increasingly using polygon modeling tools in the creation of their projects. This course is a comprehensive look at the complete suite of Maya’s polygonal and subdivision surface modeling tools. Instruction introduces the entire work flow of surface and character modeling techniques, beginning with primitives and working into complex, finished models.Building off of the principals covered in Digital Painting, this course is for students who wish to focus their efforts on developing a high-end concept art portfolio for the film and game industries. Assignments will focus on production illustrations for film and game pitches, environment illustrations and color keys for lighting reference. An emphasis will be placed on originality, strong composition and dramatic lighting.
Course Eligibility:
Candidates must have 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in Class 10 (average of all subjects).
Candidates must have passed with 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks (average of 4 core subjects as indicated below) in Class 12 / QE (Equivalent Qualifying Examination).
Percentage of marks in Class 12 to be computed as average of English + best 3 other core subjects.
